At this years fellowship weekend we talked some about this book and gave everyone a chance to pick up a copy. One of the questions this story looks at is, “Why doesn’t God do something about the pain and evil in the world.” If you have been reading or have finished The Shack we would like to know what your thoughts are about this question and other thoughts you might have from reading it.

We all need the prayers of our friends and family for personal and business reasons. Each of us has needs that can only be met through Christ. He hears our prayers and praying for each other gives us an opportunity to stay involved in each others lives on a personal level. Please consider this an invitation to pray and a place that you can let your Heritage Classic friends know how they can serve you by lifting those needs in prayer.

Thanks!

Hey, thanks to y’all for a great weekend and for welcoming my buddy Todd Gidley. As usual, my golf sucked and by the third day I had remembered why I, a) stink, and b) really don’t love this game. Still, Lord willing, I’ll be back again next year with hopes of reclaiming the sandbaggers award and experiencing that “close encounter” with the God’s presence that seems to happen every time the Heritage guys gather.

Freedom!

Freedom!

Look at what the fine people in my office just did to me. I have to wear this all day, even out to lunch (halfway across the loop). It’s locked and heavy. I can’t get it off. This is ridiculous. I guess it’s a company tradition. There’s like 30 years worth of names written on there of guys getting married.

Thanks for visiting! We have had a great weekend of fellowship and another great turnout for the classic event supporting MS. Please let us know what you thought of the week end and tell us about something that was a blessing to you at this year’s Heritage Classic.
